Hello! My name is Angela and I’ve been considering the idea of a long-distance march from KC to DC since February 2025. I am determined to make it happen. I want to do something impactful to make a difference in the world we’re living in under Donald Trump and his allies. I want our voices to be heard, loud and clear, so loud that they can’t be ignored. I want Veterans, Native Americans, people of all ethnicities, women, men, young and old, pro-choice or pro-life, able-bodied or disabled, single or married, parents or not, rich or poor, LGBTQ+ or straight, and everyone in between to join or contribute in any way they can.

Let’s turn this into a movement of courage. We’re done letting the rich push us around. We won’t sit back while they take more than they need, especially when they already have so much. The time to demand accountability and fight for change is overdue! We need to—overturn Citizens United, establish Supreme Court oversight, and set term limits for Congress. It’s unacceptable to have a few ultra-wealthy individuals while so many are homeless. Let’s come together in large numbers, demand change, and reclaim our democracy!
